For our fourth release on Leaders Of The New School, we are proud to present one of the most in-demand, passionate and versatile female DJs in the UK. Kate Lawler is a resident of legendary Manchester club Sankeys. Her swift ascent to the top is testament to her love of house. Kate’s decided to take the leap into production to give the world a strapping slice of her sound! Her debut release is the 'Screw You EP' - a fearless, faultless 3-tracker. Title track 'Screw You' is an exhilarating, brawny workout that teams rugged glitchy beats with a dynamic rolling bassline. Second track '20 Years On Acid' toughens the tone and takes us back, with burbling acid coiling its way between urgent drums and pads. Last up, 'Water Baby' provides a glowing, gorgeous finish to the EP with washes of fluid, balmy synths.
