After shining bright as the diamond of the crew and for her contribution to the So Solid Crew multi-platinum selling album ‘They Don’t Know’, Lisa was instantly signed up for a solo project.
Lisa’s debut single ‘All Over’ entered the charts at No 2 and was an inspiration to future videos by Beyoncé amongst others, followed by ‘In Love’ which entered at No 3. Following her solo single releases she launched her album fittingly entitled ‘First Lady’ which clinched a Best UK Garage Act award at the MOBOs, where she also received nominations for Best UK Act and Best UK Newcomer. She is the only nameable artist to have found her foundations and establishment within garage but then to develop and progress within the industry.
Lisa also supported Christina Aguilera on a very successful arena and stadium tour of Europe.
Lisa proved a popular and very able celebrity participant of The Games 2005 on Channel 4 and E4 where she came second and earned a silver medal.
Lisa has also presented various TV shows, including MTV from Ibiza, and is a very popular face in all the glossy magazines. Lisa has been in great demand as a celebrity model and wears many other hats including running a record label to bring through new artists, and is also an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust. Added to this, Lisa has worked for charities including a plea to a missing girl to return home which ended very happily.
Since then she has taken time out to spend with her daughter.
She was back with a bang in September 2007 with the hottest record in every club from the UK to Ibiza to Majorca and further, with a super sexy sensual video to match. The record was supported by Radio One and every other radio station. ‘Bad Girl’ was picked up by Universal Records fighting off competition from every major label in the UK. Lisa has various other projects to come including a TV show, modelling assignments and her own clothing range…
