Robbie
Rivera
is one today's most prolific dj/producers. His distinctive brand
of sexy pounding house ignites dance-floors across the globe,
while the world's top artists queue up to have Robbie put his
sound to their tracks.
The
list of names he's remixed for, reads like a list of winners at
a international music awards party; Faithless, Felix Da
Housecat, Madonna, Kylie, Gabriel & Dresden, Moloko, Sonique,
Benny Benassi, Sinead O'Connor, Ferry Corsten, Ricky Martin, Santana,
Coburn, Superchumbo , David Guetta, Pink and Basement Jaxx are
just a few of the talents
who
have made Robbie their first port of call.
Robbie's
productions have such universal appeal that he's just signed a
contract with iTunes, enabling people all over the globe the opportunity
to download his productions straight to their computer or music
players.
His
dj sets containing his infectious blend of tough sexy house grooves
are also in high-demand. On a continuous world-tour, and with
a diary resembling an airport departure board his music has recently
packed out the dance floors of Ibiza, Barcelona, Switzerland,
Poland, Miami, Puerto Rico, NYC,UK, Italy, Atlanta, Canada, LA,
Moscow and Poland.
Robbie
also runs his own Juicy Music nights, which in the last year have
included a bi-monthly party at the beautiful Catwalk Club in Barcelona
and a sell-out party at Amika at the 2005 Miami World Music Conference
. Juicy Music also co-hosted the Azuli Closing party in Ibiza
and was such a success that negotiations are already underway
for a weekly Juicy party for the 2006 Ibiza Season. More Juicy
Music nights are also in the pipeline.
An
unashamed workaholic when he's not traveling or remixing Robbie
is locked in his studio, infusing the sounds he hears on his travels
to produce a constant stream of outstanding tracks.
2005
highlights include his summer stormer, “One Eye Shut”
which gained strong radio support from Judge Jules , Pete Tong
, Fergie and Deep Dish and topped dance charts in the US and Europe.
His current release “ Right Here” featuring Jesus
Jones , is ready to exceed this success already praised by
djs and set to climb the dance charts.
Under
his Rivera Project moniker he's also about to release "Some
Kind of Heaven" which also includes mixes by top producers
David Guetta, Matteo Esse, Scumfrog , Nu Frequency , DMS. This
is due out on his own label Juicy Music in October 2005.
Juicy
Music, and its sub-labels 24seven and Juicy Tracks allows Robbie
to imprint his individual style and also gives him the opportunity
to work alongside the best talents in the industry. Superchumbo,
Basement Jaxx, Steve Angello, Antoine Clamaran, DJ Flex, Saeed
& Palash,
DJ
Rooster & Sammy Peralta, Willie Morales, Oscar G, Todd Terry,
Sebastian Ingrosso & Stonebridge are just some who have etched
their sound on the Juicy brand.
In 2004 the success of Juicy also took Robbie to
producing his very own album " Do You Want More"
for Ultra Records and Independance in France.
The first single on the "Which Way You Going" reached
the number one position on the Billboard Magazine.
Following
on from its success Juicy launched a compilation series called
‘Juicy Music', Volume 1 was a huge success,
receiving excellent reviews from clubbers and industry alike.
Plans
for Volume Two are also in the pipeline. Aside from djing, producing
and running his own label Robbie also finds time to hosts three
radio shows. Each week he can be heard on FG Radio in Paris, Sirus
Satellite in the US, Radio Italia, Maxima (Spain) and every Friday
listeners in Puerto Rico can hear him on The Megastacion and Dubradio.com.
Put
this all together and Robbie Rivera is a true international and
pioneering artist who embodies everything that is so great about
dance music today. Catch him while you can…
